Standard Appointments

All guitars, six string, twelve string, baritones and basses come with the following standard appointments (with exceptions noted).

  • Choice of Master grade sitka spruce or western red cedar top
  • Choice of Master grade East Indian Rosewood, Mahogany, Padauk or Wenge back & sides
    (The JAB Acoustic bass guitar comes standard in Mahogany or Padauk.)
  • One piece Mahogany neck with double acting truss rod, and dual carbon graphite reinforcement bars
  • Choice of Brazilian Rosewood or Ebony peghead veneer, with Berkowitz Guitars logo in paua and agoya shell abolone
  • Choice of Standard Manzanita Rosette or Abalone Rosette
  • Ebony bound, Ebony fingerboard with 4mm surface position markers and 3/32" side markers
  • Ebony bindings with maple/black side purflings
  • Ebony pinless bridge; pinned bridge available at no additional charge
  • Gold Gotoh Super 510 tuners with Black Buttons; JAB Acoustic Bass comes standard with Gold Hipshot Ultralite tuners
  • Bone nut & Saddle
  • Hoffee Carbon Fiber case *(Note, the JAB and some longer scale instruments come in an Ameritage custom case)
